Hello! Welcome to my website, I hope you enjoy your visit. My name is Emma Roberts and I'm a Canadian illustrator working out of Toronto. I am primarily a digital artist, working on conceptual illustrations, comics, cartoons, doodles, scribbles, etc. I like to create fun illustrations with a sense of humour because I like to think I'm funny.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from OCADU (in case you were interested), so I can confidently say that I kind of know what I'm doing.
Clients
I've worked on a variety of exciting projects, creating illustrations for clients including Alterna Savings and Symcor IT Service. My illustrations have been featured on billboards, bus shelters, and bank branches (just to name a few). I created story boards and concept art for these campaigns, then produced the final digital illustrations to be used and sometimes animated.
The elephant illustrations I created as part of Symcor's Head-Snap 2.0.2.0 B2B Campaign won the 2020 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award for the second year in a row. I'm very proud to say that I've had such an active role in the creative aspect of this campaign, and of all the recognition it has received.
The monsters I created for Alterna Saving's UnScary Mortgage campaign also won two AIME Awards for Marketing Excellence in 2019. To quote the AIME Awards website, "With staff falling in love with the personable and quirky monsters, and the target audience responding with close to a thousand new members, FUM increased over two and a half times and website traffic tripling compared to same period the previous year. Best of all, it increased engagement, made mortgages a little less scary and made home buying just a little bit easier."
